April was a busy month but the most exciting part (outside of my son AND husband’s birthdays and Easter) was participating in a workshop led by my all time favourite photographer – the amazingly talented Audrey Woulard of Chicago.  If you don’t know her work – look her up!  Audrey is an expert in finding natural light and teaching photographers what to do with it when you do.  She is also a master at shooting in full sun – like noon – and shooting with a very shallow depth of field to get that beautiful blurred background.  The workshop has been nothing short of amazing. I can’t wait to see how my style develops from here.  One thing is for sure, I’ll never shy away from shooting in the middle of the day again!
